Online First AidWe provide learning support tools such as a CPR compression trainer, so staff can build confidence in their hands-on skills. These tools stay in your workplace, so any staff member can upskill or refresh their technique at any time.
After completing their required modules, your staff are invited to book a 30-minute video call – a practical assessment and workplace simulation where they demonstrate the key skills and get feedback based on current best-practice guidelines. They can also ask questions and get any extra support or guidance.
When you've worked through your checklist, including all training, our platform lets you download a full paper trail of your assessment and everything you've put in place for your workplace first aid. Ideal for your health & safety reporting, or to share with anyone who needs to see it.
The platform sends notifications of renewals and product expiries to your key contact and individual trainees, so you can be confident you're always covered. The renewal period is 12 months – you simply confirm you still have everything in place and refresh any training.

Every New Zealand workplace has a responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 to provide workers with access to appropriate first aid arrangements.

How we reference your industry risk
Because the right first aid arrangements depend on your workplace's actual risk, our assessment uses ACC's own industry risk classifications as an objective reference point — the industry injury-risk data ACC uses to set each industry's work levy. It's an evidence-based way to check whether your industry sits in the low-risk range that an online-only approach suits, or whether it typically carries the kind of hazards that need tailored, in-person training. That industry signal is weighed alongside the specific hazards, size, location and public exposure of your own site.
